Okay here’s how I got addicted to webkinz:
I had eaten cake and I got to sit in the blue lounging chair. “Here.” My mom thrusted a box wrapped in birthday balloon paper into my lap. I ripped the paper off the box and sat staring at an Eggo waffle box. I opened the box to see if it was a prank gift but when I picked out my unicorn my eyes lightened and my mouth opened. “Can I adopt it please????????????” I started to scream. I was so excited because my sister got hers before me. When I adopted it my cousins were at my house. We played until they had to go home. I loved webkinz ever since that moment.

Here is my poem. It was my Birthday and everybody was over. a garden of presents in front of me. I hope I get a Webkinz, I thought. I opened my first present, five books lay in the wrap. ‘Thanks grandma” I said in clenched teeth. My second present, a CD. I searched for a soft, squishy present. “Oh”, “Here’s one” I mumbled to myself. I ripped off the wrapping excitedly and a mini pillow. I spent the rest of my time franticly searching and un-wrapping. It all came to the last present, I knew it wasn’t a Webkinz, because it was a box. I miserably, slowly teared at the wrap. A skatechers box, “Oh great, shoes” I groaned to myself. I opened the box and there he was, my very own Webkinz Beagle. ” It was the only box I had” said aunt Mary, “sorry about it.” “Oh, it’s quite all right” I said happily hugging my Beagle.
Sorry, I forgot to change here is my poem, to here is my story. I wrote the STORY above. It is a STORY, not a poem.
